Hey folks,

For some reason a few months long, I'd get a notification of a facetime call or a phone call on my mac but the device would not get the call so I can pick it up or decline the call. It's just frustrating to not be able to use my computer. I've looked up online and tried all the methods and the issue still persists. My computer is an iMac with an M1 chip with Big Sur O.S. Is there any tip or suggestion that I could go over?

Thank you

For phone calls, you have to go Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices, then turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices. Note, this is on the phone, not the Mac.

I tried that but still did not work.

Quick basic questions:
  • Do you have Bluetooth enabled on both devices?
  • Do you have the same iCloud account correctly logged in?
  • Are both devices setup for Continuity?
Most likely you are going to answer yes. But just a quick check doesn't hurt.

I've done all these stuff as well and no luck

I had this issue with Big Sur on my 2015 iMac and found my problem to be due to my VPN for some reason. If you have a VPN running try qiitting it and see if this helps.
