Hi all. Here's my problem.

When my Mac logs out of my account, Mac OS likes to keep asking me what kind of keyboard I have. I was wondering if anyone knew how to stop this. This doesn't happen on reboot or at any other time.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions that you guys might have.

I have the same problem, which is quite annoying.

The problem is that I'm using an Intel iMac, with a Microsoft wireless keyboard -- unfortunately Microsoft's Intellitype software does not run at all on Intel architecture, even under Rosetta, so the drivers are not installed.

Bogus.

Wired keyboard. A MacAlly iKeySlim.

Funny thing is the OS detects it properly; it reads it as a MacAlly iKeySlim in System Profiler.

But it likes to forget when I log out ... ?

Ah, Apple released a keyboard update. Hope it works.
