alright, so i'm hanging out at a friends house and I leave my laptop plugged into the sound system and the wall outlet to play tunes. I come back and suddenly theres horizontal black lines with parallel lines at 90 degree angles offshooting them on my screen.
pretty crappy, right? wrong.
I come back by the end of the night and theres two black "dots" near the top right and in the bottom left corner.
i'm pretty pissed about this by now, but seeing as whats passed has passed... I'm moreso just curious as to what might have caused the malfuntion... pixels dont just die... something had to happen to them, and curiously enough--both disfunctions are arranged in a particular pattern. On the left side of the screen along the dock and above there is aligned, perfectly straight lines. Otherwise theres (merely) about (fingertip-sized) black dots on the leftish near the top and bottom.
any suggestestions as to probably causes or anything really would be helpful.
