Hey guys,
quick question, when I owned a Ibook last year OSX didnt really suppose the use of divx, xvid etc files. Presumably everything would be fine with bootcamp/parallels?

Would the graphics chip in the 2.0ghz macbook be able to play back files in parallels fine or would I have to install bootcamp?

Im picking my macbook up next friday, cant wait!

Macbooks can play back DIVX/XVID files just fine with perian and/or VLC.

My latest little project is trying to get an old 500 MHz iMac G3 to run DIVX files well. I am SO close to getting it to work, but there is a little skipping yet whenever there is a lot of action on screen.
