So I have a late 2006 Blackbook and I played WoW 5.0.2 and holy hell was it bad. Everytime I loot something I lag for 20 seconds.

I just want to know if I should call it quits on playing WoW on my blackbook or any tweaks to help me salvage my gaming on the laptop.

Does that model have the GMA 950 graphics? If so, WoW must be Fu**ing awful. What fps are you getting? The GMA 950 is like the lowest end Mac GPU I've come across in my life, next to the Rage 128. I don't even like playing WoW on my uncles 2010 iMac that has a 256MB Radeon 4670, 30-50fps isn't enough for me. I want to play around the 90-120+ range, like my PC plays it.

By the way, you know Patch 5.0.4 is out right?

Give up.

If you want to game, you can build yourself, or buy a decent gaming PC for well under 1000 bucks.

Or if you don't to spend, get some ****** ATX based system with at least 6gb of ram, and jam a somewhat decent PCIE video card in it.
