What is the difference between MB063LL/A and MB063LL/B? I just ordered a new SR MacBook but the confirmation email states MB063LL/A as the model number but if I look on the Apple website it states MB063LL/B as the model number. Are they trying to give me an older version?

Yup... /B is the Santa Rosa Chipset with GMA X3100. I think some people seem to like the GMA 950 more though since there's no good drivers for X3100 yet.

But yeah you're stuck with the older model from earlier this year.

Oh... and your /A should be 2.16ghz not 2.2. Maybe they'll end up giving you a /B and just haven't updated their site yet.

/A also will support 2gb of Ram, where /B can support up to 4gb

Did you buy it refurbished? As all they have available is the 2.16 /A version.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. The wierd thing is the email states the model as MB 13/2.2/2X512/160/SD-DL:BLACK (MB063LL/A). So the must have made a typo and the A should read B?
