Hi,

Since buying the 2018 mbp 13" (only slightly bigger than my donger, no joke ;)) I have begun seeing unexplainable bluetooth issues that were not present in my late 2013, 13" model.

My magic keyboard / trackpad gets random disconnections or latency.
My non-apple bluetooth speakers crackle and even drop out mid play.

Am I the only one seeing this? Haven't heard anybody else complain - otherwise I'll just get a replacement from apple.

Thanks everyone.

Bluetooth issues are often caused by interference from USB 3 devices. If you have some USB devices connected, try unplugging them to see if the Bluetooth problem goes away. If that solves it, you can try relocating or repositioning the USB devices to avoid the interference.

Second that, plugging in anything in the USB ports of a Macbbook causes all sorts of problems, from Bluetooth disconnects to dropping WiFi to freezing issues and so on. At least I had it on the 2017 model, and it looks like it hasn't been fixed yet.

What a pain -- I need to have my charger and dock in to use my screen.
The charger won't be a problem as it's not USB 3 data; it's just power. Does the problem persist when you unplug the dock?
