I am so angry because there is a dent on my new Macbook Air. It's behind the screen, on the upper corner at the very center of the rounded part. It basically looks like the corner got chipped off (very tiny though). This thing is only a month old. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Could I take it to Apple, would they repair it? It is a very little dent. Please let me know, thanks!

They'll repair it, but it will cost you. Neither the Warranty or AppleCare cover accidental damage.
Do you know more about this service and the price range by any chance? I've been reading around just now that the only way that they can fix it is by replacing the entire cover of the Macbook. Also I only just started using the Macbook, even though it was purchased a month ago, would that mean I could get it exchanged? Because I do not remember denting it, it is quite possible the Macbook came this way because it has stayed locked in the same place, unharmed.
You'll have a hard time convincing them that it came that way, since you've had a month to notice it and report it, but you haven't. It's possible to get a Mac with a defective part, but extremely rare to get one that arrives with physical damage. If it's very small, as you say, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it works properly, it won't hurt to leave it as it is.
Did you dent it or was it like that out of the box, and is it within 14 days they are accepting it for a return? How did they handle this
it was basically a dent i JUST bought this..i returned my first one to amazon thinking it might be amazon having a bad batch or something...so i go into apple store and bought one...opened it checked it thoroughly and found a dent basically it seems like somebody stabbed and chipped it with a lead pencil or something. It is pretty obvious..im going back tommorrow and gonna complain and just get my money back..they better refund me too...
My old macbook pro has a little tiny dent under the speaker... if I looked for imperfections on my Macbook Air I'd probably go crazy, cause I'll surely scratch it or something within a week haha. I know Apple products are beautiful and we want them to stay that way, but you can't drive yourself insane over it.

I nearly took my iPhone to the Apple Store the other day, but in the midst of the floods and cyclones here in Queensland, I thought it a bit inappropriate

Ah, the first imperfection in one of our Apple products... We've all been there. Really though, you think that it'll drive you nuts, and it will indeed for about a week, then you'll stop noticing it and all of its little friends that slowly gather over a (computer) lifetime of usage. And really, the other 99.999% of the machine is still beautiful as it ever was, and it still works perfectly fine.

Sorry to ask this, but can you post a picture if possible? I would like to see it.
PS: It's not that MBA is small. That is not why you notice it. Once you notice the dent, then it's over. It is inside your head. You will notice it even if it was 17 inch MBP.
