Since wiping my MacBook Air 11" Mid 2012 keyboard with a damp cloth I had some issues with some of the function keys not working correctly (brightness changing volume and vice versa). After 24 hours or so this issue resolved itself however the power button does still not work after a week.

I have managed to turn the laptop on by reconnecting the battery however in order to keep using the laptop I won't be able to completely power down without a software restart.

Does anyone know if I can resolve the issue? Will I have to replace the logic board? Considering just buying a new laptop if fixing will be expensive.
