Macbook air 11 sims 3

I know on the minimum specs that it says it needs a 2.4ghz proc, but so does cod 4 and this apparently runs. My question is deos the sims 3 run on this machine? Has anyone had any real life experience with them?

If not on the 11 would it run on the 13? Same quesiton as before has anyone had any experience?

If you buy it from GameTree Online, then you don't need CD since it's a digital download.
