Hi!I am planning to buy a new macbook air 13inch and am willing to use it as my primary laptop. My question is that will the macbook air be able to provide enough horsepower for developing mac, iphone and ipad apps and games?,and is it good for multimedia consumption as well,as i will be watching a lot of movies etc.. on it?Please advice,i can buy a macbook pro 13 inch instead, but i don't want to buy it as the macbook air is much slimmer and lighter, thus, very portable for me!Also i would like to know that after downloading flash player from adobe's website, does the macbook air perform just like the macbook pro in playing flash content? Thanks.

I do Xcode on 11" MBA when on the road; at home I use my iMac. Of course there is a difference but for me the MBA has enough power to do coding work. Didn't tried blender yet on the MBA; that's still only on the iMac. Media consumption I mainly do on iMac and iPad; here I can't help. And Flash I don't care. iPad serve my surfing need well.

I got my 13" 4gig mba for the same reasons :)
I really wanted the 11.6, but thought I'd like the larger screen better for this purpose.
