Hi, as I'm slowly moving away from this wonderful machine and waiting for my new MBA 2020 I wondered how much improvement would I get by applying a liquid metal paste on the CPU and GPU of this machine. The improvements are quite remarkable in some cases, but the main reason for the high temperatures appears to be the GPU. Meanwhile, the CPU could be easily clocked at some higher frequencies and still be below 100 degrees.
For details see the attached pdf.

Would this be worth doing to the MBA 2020? I probably would start from trying to connect the CPU with the fan.
Anyone knows what's on top of the MBA 2020 CPU?
