Macbook Air 2017 13in or Macbook Air 2015 11in


Please help me decide,

I really like the form factor of the 11 inch. But is the 2017 really a big difference in terms of multitasking especially it comes with 8gb of ram? How about battery life?


I dont dont buy the new macbooks with the butterfly keyboards I hate that

So I will go with the old Air for portability and reliability

So now confused with 2015 air 11 inch or 2017 air 13 inch

It all depends on how the two laptops are spec'd. if both come with the i7 2.4GHz 8GB configuration and you're looking for the most portable laptop then I say go with the 11inch model. Keep in mind though that the 11inch won't last as long as the 13inch on the battery. With either the 2015 or 2017 MBA, you can incorporate NVMe M.2 storage so go with the smallest Apple SSD then upgrade to the NVMe storage later.

I'm not too big on the i5 processors and 4GB ram configuration. I would rather have a laptop with an i7 processor and 8GB RAM.

Get the 13inch air. You can't upgrade the RAM... they're soldered onto the logic board.
