Hi all,

I got a Macbook Air 2018 about 1.5 years ago, brand new. In the beginning it worked fine. But since about three weeks it has battery problems: at seemingly random battery levels (percentages) it shuts down without any warning. Just a black screen. I have to plug in the power cord in order to be able to boot it up again.

This happens at battery percentages like 40%, 60% and 70%. I updated to iOS Catalina last week, but the problem remains.

Yesterday it even started to happen when the power cord is connected...

Do you have any ideas what could be the cause and what to to? It's rather frustrating :(
