I'm thinking of buying a MBA Second Gen with 1.86Ghz, 2G Ram, 128GB HD from a friend that has been using it for 2 years already, for 600 dollars. Do you think this is a good deal? Should I save it for a new MBA instead?

Does it have a 128GB SSD or a 120GB hard disk? Your listing is slightly ambiguous; if it is the SSD, then go for it!

yup good deal. im looking for a similar machine and i would definitely go for something like that. most first gen machines go for that on ebay.
