I have an issue with the touch id that is preventing the laptop from booting. I can press the button to power it on but it thinks I am continually pressing the button and can only go to recovery mode. I do have to press the touch id button to power it on so it does recognize the touch. I did pull the laptop apart far enough to remove the touch id and inspect. Don't see any signs of damage. Same symptom when put back together.
