I use Logmein on a bunch of my computers. Even if my iMac is in Sleep Mode I can still use Logmein to wake it up and take control. Will I be able to do that with my MBA if the lid is closed (and in what I think they call Deep Sleep Mode) or will it not be able to be woken up?

So you can log in to the MBA even if the lid is closed on it?

LOL...im sorry. I didn't read your post. LOL FAIL!!!!! Um, if you go into deep sleep, you will cut the connection. If you are connected to a monitor, you shouldn't.

Are you trying to connect your MBA to another laptop or a desktop? because I think what I did on my macbook was turn off sleep mode or ...when it is connected to a monitor. when you close the lid, it will fall asleep, then I wake it up with a keyboard.
go to settings and make sure sleep is off.
