MacBook Air External Display Problem

Hi,
I have a MBA 1.6 and it's plugged into my ACER 22" LCD. Sometimes when the macbook is asleep and I wake it up the air's LCD turns on but the Acer wont. I have to turn the Acer off and on and then the air recognizes it and sends video to the acer. I used this acer with my MB for a good year and never had this issue. Any thoughts?

Did you use the same type of connection?
DVI or VGA?

Both same connection through DVI, i'm pretty sure it happens everytime now.

Go into Displays, then Arrangement and make sure you've clicked on Mirror Displays (In fact, I'm looking at my MBA on my 40" Sony Bravia LCD right now!)...
