I've got a laptop showing the two images attached when I turn it on. It just stays alternating between these two images and won't go any further in booting - between the two images it just shows a completely black screen. It doesn't respond when I press escape. Not sure what's going on. Tried imaging-searching the pictures but didn't get any results. It just started today. Let me know if you know what's up.

One image is showing you the power switch on a magic keyboard (asking you to make sure the keyboard power is on)
The other image is the power switch on a magic mouse (also asking that you turn your mouse power on)
So, both are telling you that you need to turn the power on both of those bluetooth devices (or plug in a wired USB mouse would also avoid that image)
If you don't use any wireless mouse or keyboard, then those images are telling you that your MacBook Air is not detecting your keyboard or trackpad.
Try an NVRAM reset - (and you need a working keyboard to do that)

Omg thanks for that tip - I'll try and get my hand on a keyboard. Let me know if there are any other things that could be the issue.
