MacBook Air 2020 i3 help-

I keep getting around 50 - 60c (with jumps to 70-80 when loading certain web pages + fans at 2700) simply browsing on safari with 2 tabs. This seems really high - especially for an i3 ???
Can anyone share what they get? (please use actual temp readings)
Thanks

Depends on the ambient temp in your room. Have not looked at it for a while, but last time I checked in spring, it was beween 40 and 50. Only time it went up to 70-80 was on video calls with MS Teams.

If it's a brand new Air, it could just be macOS doing it's indexing or whatever it does in the background. You could try leaving it run for half a day or so and see if things improve after that. My i5 doesn't get anywhere near that hot under the same usage.
