Is anyone else's left arrow button or any keys not flush on their keyboard? This is quite annoying and would expect better. I know I can go into Apple Store but wanted to check to see if anyone else's is like that...

What do you mean by flush? None of mine are flush, they are all 3mm above the aluminum base. What I can say is that none of the keys seem to be different than the others by any great number of standard deviations.

As a side note, and this is not a criticism spyz88, just an observation that applies to myself too sometimes... If Mac owners are picky, then Mac owners who read and post on Macrumors are down right neurotic. LOL. I went through the worst time picking apart the MBP I bought a few weeks ago and eventually returned it due to the yellow screen issue. Since I got my air on Monday, I haven't obsessed over a single thing. Strange considering it came with a slight dent in the aluminum. Maybe the MBP reminded me of my mom and the MBA reminds me of hot girlfriend or something. Where is the Macbook Freud when you need it?

I would not deal with a dented MacBook Air. Call me a neurotic but for the money they charge for these computers it should be perfect.

Agreed. After my experience with the MBP issues, I am just worried that if I demand an exchange, then something else more irritating might be wrong with the replacement. This one has a perfect keyboard, screen and battery. I just don't want to take the chance. The dent is very subtle anyway. It it next to the iSight cam and looks like the bezel got flexed or something before they put it on. Take it back, the apple store seems to be on such pins and needles about how people are responding to these that they would probably not give you any trouble.

Heres a picture of the keyboard. I hope I got the right angle.

See the left arrow key on the right part of it is raised up more? Its much more noticeable in real life.

Early build problems are common, especially with something in a totally new case design.

I would report every problem, even if small, to Apple so that they can improve the future version.

I would bring it back to get replaced.

Actually, that would bug me too. I used to get so irritated on MBP's when one or two of the keys was turned, or lower or higher than the rest. The Numlock keys were notorious for this.

Report back with how they go about fixing the issue. Either giving you a replacement or sending it in for repair.

I will but one thing though. They can kiss my a** in Macy's window if they think im sending a two day old machine in for repairs...
