Hi all!
Just got my MacBook Air M1 and an Apple leather sleeve. These first days the fit is vey snug, so I wonder if any of you using the sleeve with a MacBook a and an Apple sleeve had noticed any kind of discoloration on the MacBook edges due to the repetitive rubbing while putting it on and taking it off the sleeve.
Hope to get some feedback from you guys.
Thanks.

No, but it really is only supposed to go in one way. If you put it in correctly, there’s much less friction.

Wel, if you follow Apple indication, you are to put in the thickest part first (the debossed Apple logo is the indication).

I have the gold m1 air and haven't noticed any discoloration. Have been using the sleeve for around 4 or 5 months now, and it has given a bit so the air is easier to slide in.

I have an MBA and the Apple leather sleeve. I was hesitant to buy it for several reasons, not least of which was the price, but it seems to fit fine. I do put it in thin edge first. Thickest part at the top of the open edge when it's fully inserted. A little snug -- like not going to slip out snug -- but doesn't feel like it doesn't fit or anything like that.

If we consider the Apple logo in the sleeve and it’s orientation, the MBA should be put in the sleeve with the thickest party first.
