So I bought this Macbook Air (mid 2009, 1.86 GBz, 2GB) a couple of days ago. Worked fine, except for the fact that it had Leopard installed. I really wanted to upgrade to Lion to be able to use the App Store, iCloud and that kind of stuff. That wasn't possible because I don't have a Lion CD and it's nowhere to be downloaded legally (right?). So I got Yosemite. And that's when the problems started. Google Chrome, Finder, iTunes, System Preferences and basically everything except for Mail and Twitter barely work. Is my computer too slow? Did I do something wrong here? It's far from full and I've only installed a couple of apps so far... I can't really find anything about this problem on the web so it seems it's really my crappy computer...

I'm a really satisfied user of an iMac, iPad and iPhone so I still like Apple a lot but this was a bit dissappointing...:D

Maybe a dumb question, but how do I do that? I tried to get the Install file on a USB drive with Diskmaker but it wouldn't work (Diskmaker I mean). I'm considering trying to find Mavericks or even (Mountain) Lion. Unless anyone has another trick ;)
