Hey guys,
I need some help. I would like to upgrade the ssd in my mid 2013 13" macbook air to a larger one.
I am aware that I can buy an OWC aura but I would like to buy a used ssd to save some money.
As there aren't many used owc auras out there (I live in Germany) I'm planning to buy a used original apple ssd.

Here comes my question. What other ssds form the macbook pro/air series or the imacs will work in my macbook air?
Do the ssds from MBP models from 2013-14 work? They have the same PCIe 2x interface?
Do all other MBA ssds from 2013-15 as they all have the same PCIe 2x interface?

Thanks for the help.
Daniel

Thanks. I read some parts of the thread, sadly it's too long to read it all.
But from what I've gathered I'll be looking for a used macbook air ssd as this seems to be the most stable solution.

Yes, some of the solutions are not too stable. I'm running an Intel 600p in an early 2015 Air with no problems.

I installed a third party drive because 256 GB OEM Apple drives are expensive on eBay. I rarely see them for sale and I'm in a pretty big city.
