I recently picked up a MacBook Air for a great price. The only problem is that it was dropped and has significant denting and disfiguring to the aluminum case that is behind the screen with the glowing Apple logo. I got a quote of $650 from the Apple store to send it out for repair. That is way beyond what I am willing to spend for cosmetic damage. I started searching and found the bottom of the case as well as the top of the case and keyboard but have had no luck finding a replacement for the backing of the screen. Dies anyone know where I can pick one up? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i took my macbook air to apple 2 or 3 time just b/c it was running slow and the fans were always at 6200rpms....they did this and that the first couple times....the 3rd time they sent it out (instead of working on it at the store)...i had a couple dents and a lot of scratches and apple replaced both the top & bottom cases!....i know they don't usually fix cosmetic damage for free but they did in this case.
