Hello!

Recently, a friend decided to get a new laptop. They finally chose to make the switch to a Mac. However, we cannot decide whether they should go for the Air or the Pro for their needs. They will be mainly using it for:

  • At home for work a couple of days a week (at most) to connect to their work using Microsoft Remote Desktop
  • Browsing the web
  • Listening to spotify
  • Watching netflix on it
  • Storing some photos on it
  • Occasionally writing a word document
Our main concern is that the Air won't be able to handle the remote desktop software very well (with or without running the other apps listed above at the same time). Would they be wasting money getting a Pro to do the stuff they wanna do?

Thanks in advance!

An Air will be fine; it's easily fast enough, cheaper, and will have a better keyboard.
