it'll be barely playable because of the integrated graphics, unless you turn the settings down. And yes, it is the full game, but make sure you get the universal binary version
Will it work better running Halo running Bootcamp?

I've tried Halo on 2 GHz G5 with Radeon 9600 128 MB and 1.5 GB RAM. It ran at 5-10 FPS on medium settings. MBA would be far worse than that because of the graphics card (or lack thereof).
You probably had the resolution too high...I had the same graphics card for a little while and Halo ran quite a bit better than that on it, more like 25+ fps with medium settings. (Well, 2.5GHz G5 vs. 2 GHz but that would make little difference in this case.) The main thing with Halo is to turn the resolution down; that helps more than lowering graphics quality.

800x600 is not considered too high last time I checked.
Hmm, I was at 1024x768. Not sure what to tell you; the 9600 did way better than 5-10fps. Halo with a GMA 950 gets 10-15fps typically, so I'd expect the Air to run it around that rate as well...not personally what I'd consider playable.

That can't be right? On my 1.8 GHz iMac G5 with the same graphics card and 1 GB RAM, I got over 20 fps at 1024x600, pixel and vertex shaders on and everything else on medium. The only big thing which wasn't turned on was dynamic shadows but that didn't bother me.
