Hi everyone,
I sent in my Macbook Air rev. B for warranty repair ten days ago at an apple store, for some scuffing on the screen bezel and random shutdown. The repair status has been on "repair in progress" since late last week. I have tried calling applecare many times, and the response was either "it was sent to engineering" or "not sure what's going on with your computer". The applecare support has always been very friendly, and I just couldn't bring myself to raise my voice to demand my MBA's return (I doubt it'll expedite anything anyway) over the phone.
Does a display replacement and hardware diagnostic really take 10 days?
What can I do to get my computer back? What's the cutoff for unacceptable repair duration?
thanks
