Macbook Air Rev B Screen Flickr Question?

I have read about the screen flickering on the REV B Air. I bought this model 2 days ago. I went to your forum and saw this link:

My screen looks normal when I open this photo. But when I click and enlarge it then I do see flickering. But not on the original image that opens when I click on the above link.
If there is no flickering unless I enlarge the image, does that mean everything is OK with my screen. I certainly don't see any of the line problems that have been discussed.

FYI, the mods closed the thread about the line and flickering, please don't start up another one. At any rate, it shouldn't matter whether you can see lines flickering from a certain test page, as long as you have a comfortable view from everything else on your Air then let it go and enjoy your computer. You've allowed this forum to scare you about using your computer. It shouldn't take a forum to inform you that your computer has issues, they should be plainly visible from the get go.

If you look at your screen normally, and nothing appears out of the ordinary and nothing is bothering you about it, who gives a f*** if it flickers on a test image or not?

Seriously, unless you're getting a headache or you have eagle eyes and can see the lines from a normal viewing distance, don't worry about it.

My screen flickers on the image and has the lines, but neither bother me since from where I keep the distance I can't see the lines, and unless I'm looking at that image, I notice no flicker.

Zero dead or stuck pixels, excellent colour contrast and saturation make this screen a hell of a lot better than the pieces of **** they stick in the Macbooks.

When you first load up the image most web browsers will shrink it to a smaller size and then give you a magnifying glass or a + symbol when you hover your mouse over it. When you actually click on it the browser will display it at the original proper size.

The reason there is no flickering at the smaller size is the image gets distorted and the horizontal lines aren't properly spaced. The image test is very precise. Distorting the image makes it useless. Always view test images at their original size.

I won't start a lines thread if you can get me my cash and time back dealing with this issue.

Whether one can or can not see the problem doesn't mean there isn't a problem. Isn't ignorance just bliss?
