Recently there was a post on MacRumors of a 'MacBook Air'.
There was also another post of Banners at the Moscone Center "2008, there's something in the air'

Is it just me or did Apple or the people who made the banner try and give away a hint of what is coming up or was it a general mistake??

It is a hint about one or more of the upcoming products.
Apple does that to us.

I think its just you :p

As the people posted in the other forums, the advertising for Apple is done by a merketing company and therefore, there are not likely to be any hidden meanings.

The likely meaning of "something in the air" is the growth of iTunes store and the introduction of even more downloadable media such as videos instead of buying them on DVD/HD/BlueRay

those tricky applers are up to something

what do you think it is?

I think (wish) its a tablet, similar to a giant iphone

touchscreen keyboard

internet connected 24/7 via att 3G

external optical drive via bluetooth or wifi or something

aluminum case
