I was cleaning my Macbook Air, 2020 with a microfiber and in a second a part of my screen display goes off. The screen is not under warranty so I need to pay a huge cost. How is the screen so fragile that it can be damaged with a microfiber cloth???

So, we aren't supposed to see that obvious dent/impact mark on the top of the display frame directly above the damaged section of the screen?

Yeah, they will have to pay for the repair for sure. Unless they have AppleCare Plus.
