Macbook Air so sluggish after Yosemite

After installing Yosemite on my SSD Macbook Air...it is incredibly sluggish....nothing in activity monitor seems to be standing out though to be the cause....anything I can do? ...
Had Yosemite installed from release day.

Did you repair permissions after the install?

Disable transperancy in settings-->accessability

A safe boot might fix it

If you want a quick fix without knowing the cause, try starting just once in safe mode then restart in normal mode.
