Thinking of the 13" version.

Surfing, excel & word (will purchase iworks), watching movies & playing Football Manager.

My concern is if the Air is powerful enough to run the 3D graphics of FM and if it will let me run many leagues.

Also I'm converting my blu-rays to 1080p mkv files, will it be able to handle these, I don't want to convert them again.

Cheers

13" MacBook Pro would be better for these two choices.

Especially converting blu-rays.

Get the 13.3 pro and call it a day.....get a better value spec wise and price wise.

Unless you have a specific need for the air......the pro is a better buy IF you get it at Microcenter.....it would be the same price for each at $999.

The 320M equipped MBA might just be better for Football Manager than the Intel 3000HD in the MBP or the revised Air model. I don't know why people are saying the MBP would be better than the MBA for a 3D game, it's just not true.

13" Air is very capable, and I was able to encode high-def videos no problem. Takes longer, but will be able to handle it easily. It'll also play Football Manager fine.

I think the Air is better than the 13" Pro for a few reasons. The SSD makes it feel so much quicker too.

Less glare too, because there isn't a sheet of glass over the display. You'll love the 13" Air. But if you can wait, new models due out along with the Lion release.
