If my memore serves me right, when I tried installing the SP3 version of XP there was a similar error, but only if you are using bootcamp. If that's the case you need to download the bootcamp update for SP3. Hope this helps.

I have a Macbook Air and I installed XP service pack 3 before I installed the update. But the update with the drives (2.1) is a .exe file. How can you install that before installing XP? OSX doesnt recognize .exe files.

What am I suppose to do? How do I delete the XP installation and install the Driver 2.1 update first?
