Macbook and a DellTM 1907FP 19"

Hello people, i have heard somewhere that u cannot use a macbook (not pro) with a DellTM 1907FP 19" unless u have a special connector.... is this true???

what is this connector and how much will it cost?

Macbooks have Mini-DVI ports. Depending on whether you want a DVI or a DSub connection you will need to get a Mini=DVI to DVI or Mini-DVI to DSub adaptor from Apple.

I am by no means tech savvy... which is better? is there a difference in terms of quality or response raate?

Ie i will use it for gaming eg hl2 and work

Straight through DVI should give you a crisper image. There is no difference in terms of response rate.
