My macbook wont start up... a folder with a question pop up. Tried C Key and TDM.. no luck, can anyone help?

Did you try C when the OSX disc was in the drive? The question mark means it can't find the system folder so you may have to reinstall your OS. I hope you were backed up. If you weren't then you may be able to use Target Disk Mode with another Mac to get your data back.
