Hey guys,

I have a MacBook Pro 13" retina, early 2015. I purchased a Blue Yeti mic (Blue Yeti Link) to do recording, podcasts, etc. When I plug it in my MacBook a pop up in the corner says "USB devices have been disabled. Unplug device requiring too much power, etc."

So I purchased a usb powered hub at the suggestion of a tech store (I purchased an amazon basics usb hub: (USB Hub Link) that said the hub will power the mic so the computer won't have to, and therefore not shut off the USB ports. But it's still telling me the same thing. Mic won't work on my computer. Doesn't matter what port. The Hub is plugged in. Quiet frustrated.

Seems odd I can't use a usb microphone on my computer?!
