I have a Macbook Pro 15" with Tiger OSX 10.4.3. I unplugged my router & plugged it back in & I also reset the router. I turned on my laptop. It asks me if I want to join NETGEAR & I say yes, but it still says I cannot connect. It's worked before, but now it did that first time. So now how do I fix it?

I assume you entered the password correctly?

Go to network diagnostics and run through that whole cycle (it won't take long).

Just what does it say in the dialogue box? The exact phrasing?

Are you sure you have 10.4.3? Because IIRC Intel Macs first came out during the times of 10.4.6 or 10.4.7...

Does the router have a WEP? If so, I don't think you'll be able to conect until you get it.

Try this next: turn off Airport and wait for a few minutes. Then, turn it back on and try again. Since I'm guessing that you already tried, this, I also suggest:

Restart the mbp

and,

double check and make sure the router is working correctly by checking it with a different computer.
