macbook, another perfect!

ok i know there are a zillion threads on the perfection/ crapness of te macbook... but mine is perfect! no mooing, except havin said that, now that i ahve it on my lap- vs on the desk earler, the option/ command key is getting disconcertingly warm. neverthe less perffect 10 on hardware.

however, switching is a different thing! the thing had been updating for about an hour, i didn't understand the whole os x thing especially not the whole disk image thing. why does firefox and messenger come up as a disk? huh? and it did take like 20 mintues to find the key to the internet.

all in all paart from the fact that it is short and squat and nt that used to a widescreen, loving it.

The disc image is basically a temporary throw-away package that includes installation files, set up guides etc.

To install the application onto your hard disc, drag it to your Application folder from inside the disc image. You may then throw away (eject) the disc image, by dragging it to the Trash.

You can also delete the .dmg file as well, after installing the app.

yeah my macbook is close to perfect just the stupid heat problem.

dude, the installation method of mac is sooo awesome. just double click on the dmg or whatever type of installation program it is. then drag the icon into the apps and you're done!

thanks so much for your help. now i can tell my sister's boyfriend who tried to figure that out with me and then said damn the macs they are so complcated! and tell him that its actually really easy.

actuallyone non perfect thing... i don't know whether its me who is croked or some keys on hte keyboard is croaked. and the m just looks like an inverted w. just being perdantic...
