Apple replaced my hard drive in my macbook which used to be a Toshiba 80gb drive that and now its a segate 80gb drive. Once I got it home right away in a quite room i noticed that the segate is much louder then the toshiba drive. You can tell that its the drive because it shuts off from time to time during idle periods do to OS X's power functions. When its on it easily drowns out the macbook fan noise which is much quieter then the drive. Speed seems to be about the same during use. Also when it idles I notice random clicking sounds(anywere from 10-45secs) coming from this new seagate drive.

First did any macbook or pro owners get segate drives with their mac's? have any others had different manufactures drives and had it swapped out for seagates? do seagate drives seem somewhat loud compared to others? and is the clicking normal?
