I have a year old 1.83 Macbook.... upgraded to Leopard on release day.

For the past few days (maybe a week) I've been having serious battery issues. Most of the time I use the Macbook at my desk connected to the A/C adapter. However, I also like taking it around the house, in bed, bathroom, etc.

Since it is constantly connected to the charger, it always has a 100% charge, and that's what the menu bar says. The last few times I have taken it off the charger, the menu bar shows that is running on battery power, and it stays at 100% for a few minutes.

Then it acts as if the battery is dead, so it goes to sleep. If I try to wake it, it just shuts off.

I connect it back to the A/C adapter, and it's back to 100%.

Faulty battery? Not sure what changes I've made that would have caused this. Thankfully I purchased Applecare... so hopefully this isn't something I'll need to pay for.

Am I alone here?
