I bought a MacBook about a week and a half ago (Week 30) and just recently have had troubles with my battery. For the first week and a half it worked great. 4 to 4.5 hours with usual web browsing. Last night I got about an hour and a half MAYBE out of a full charge. I fully charged it again and ran Coconut Battery and was down to 19% of the original charge. Advice, opinions, good looking girls phone numbers would all be welcome.

Have you calibrated the battery? Although I suppose if you are letting the battery die completely, and then charging it, you most definitely have! I would just take the 'Book to an Apple Store and let them check it out.

It's could be a bulging battery.

When your computer's off, take out the battery and look at it from the side.

Does it look like it's fat in the middle, like it's "bulging" out?

This is one of the problems in the MacBook Pros - mine has it and I had to get it replaced.

Apple will replace the battery for you.

It's really weird because it will charge, show that it's 100 percent. SLOWLY start to drain...then drop to around 20 percent and drain like crazy. Apple is sending me a new battery with the _______________________(help me out guys, they send me a new one, I take mine out and send it back to them. I forgot what they called it)
