Hello, I am a MacBook Air 13 M3 user and running it on Mac OS Sequoia in version 15.2.

I just recently updated the os from Sonoma to Sequoia and yes there is apple intelligence in this sequoia os. For the most part, Sequoia's OS is much better than its predecessor, Sonoma.

But what happened, after my OS update the battery drained faster than in Sonoma.
After I investigated it turned out that I activated the apple intelligence and this was the culprit of the fast battery loss on my MacBook air.

Yes, I understand that because Apple Intelligence implants its intelligence system on the user's device, it's different when we use web Chat-GPT, Gemini or Claude AI which is based on the cloud data processing server.

And yes, I disabled Apple Intelligence on my mac because I don't really need to use the feature.
After I disabled Apple Intelligence mac os feels more efficient than before I disabled it.

But when compared to Sonoma OS, I feel that Sonoma is more cost-effective than Sequoia. But it's okay, it's also an OS update, there must be many features that are improved and consume more battery resources.

After all, if I compare Sequoia to Sonoma, let's just say it pays the price by using a higher battery but the efficiency between power and performance results is much better.

But we will see in the future whether the update to version 15.2 and above will be much more power efficient than the current 15.2.
