The battery meter in os x is showing the wrong %.
It says 97%, but then in the menu is says "Battery is charged"
The green light is on on the power supply, and it doesnt go orange even when I unplug the cord for a while then plug it back in.
Does anyone know what's wrong??

Thanks

i think i've fixed it. I let the battery run down to below 95%. It seems to be fine now.

Well, if the battery was kept at a constant 100%, within a year the battery wouldn't work anymore. OSX charges the battery to 100% then stops powering it. Like all batteries, even without use they dissipate. Maybe leaving it on for like 2 days will use up the 5%, maybe. Anyway, so users won't have to remove the battery to prolong life Apple is doing this. Essentially when it is at 100-95% it is like taking the battery out of the notebook.
