Hi there! I've had my macboook for 3 months now and I've decided to download a program that says how much of my original battery capacity is still available today. To my surprise, with only 3 months of use, it says that the full charge today will only go up to 86% !! Is this normal??

Are you using Coconut battery? Before you start to worry, charge your macbook to 100% and then run it down untill it goes into sleep mode. Then, once you have run the battery totally flat, charge it up while the macbook is off for a couple of hours to make sure the battery is 100% before you turn it on again.

You should see an improvement with this. If you do, but its still not in the high 90's then repeat the process.

Ok, so I tried what you told me, and nothing. Through coconut, it says that my battery has only 86% capacity than the original, and only 4515mAh, instead of the 5200 mAh. Now, is this normal??

mine is only a week old and after a calibration, it's down to 93 percent.

I think something might be wrong with mine.
