ok my battery when pressing the button shows it as full.
the magsafe adapter shows it as charging.

when I unplug the adapter 2 seconds later the computer cuts off like the battery is dead.

tried smc reset and cmd-option p+r

still does it.

anyone have clue? sounds like overcharged.

but it does the same thing if I close the lid and repeat above steps.

anyway to reset battery.

well I downloaded coconut battery meter. and found out my replacement battery apple gave me is now dead in 1 day. the other day I got 3 hours out of it and today Its at 1020mah. and thats 20% so if I unplug it, the laptop cuts it self off.

anyway to reset this via some battery hack.

ok I had already written off this battery as dead, only thing is today 3 days after giving up on this battery something very strange happens.

now my mag adapter says full charged, the battery shows a full charge by pushing the button. if I run coconut it shows the battery cycles now -1 and the power has -1. before I mentioned it was 1020mah.

tried previously mentioned fixes still nothing.

anyway drain battery completely manually. or reset the battery info, show it will recharge.
