Hey guys, I just got my Macbook today, and I'm having a weird problem. I had the Macbook plugged in for many hours. I disconnected the power adapter and it shut down, I tried turning it on, but no go. I then plugged back in the power adapter, and it started right up. I looked in System Profiler, and it's telling me "No battery is installed." When I look at the top menu, it has the battery icon with a big "X" in it. I'm assuming that the battery is no good, which boggles my mind because it's basically a brand new MacBook, but I just wanted to make sure?! However, if I'm missing something that's right in front of me, feel free to enlighten me!
Thanks!!

Right side of wrong
i'm not sure what to say on this one. make sure the battery is connected correctly and i guess look in the manual under "battery" or something like that.

Did you ever call about this? My Mom's Macbook is exhibiting the same exact symptoms. What did you find out?
