Hey everybody,

I got my first Apple laptop Friday and was wondering what the best way to treat the battery is. Is it best to remove it when you are plugged in to the adapter or just always leave it in? I know that in my previous Toshiba laptop, it was recommended that I remove the battery when it is fully charged and plugged into the adapter in order to prolong battery life by keeping it from undergoing excesive cycles.

Thanks!

There's no need to remove it while plugged in. Just calibrate your battery when you get it and monthly thereafter. That's it!
