I've been having some problems with airport in my university, and IT services have been less then helpful.

Airport will connect to the school's standard wifi network in the library, but not in my classroom. The person sitting beside me in my classroom owns a CD Macbook, and has no problems connecting whatsoever.

Any suggestions?

can you force it into G or B mode? perhaps the pre-N isn't playing nice with whatever wap is in your classroom.

Yes finally I'm not hallucinating! I've been trying to get this problem out to people but everyone just think I'm insane or something or they don't have a C2D MB yet. I'm having trouble connecting to my university's wi-fi network and it's not holding my connection after waking my MB up from a sleep.
