I'd like upgrade from 1GB to 2GB, but would like to match or exceed the CAS and timing ratings of the original Apple RAM, however I can't seem to discover what those ratings are for my C2D black MacBook.

My G4 PowerMac would freeze and crash after I installed slower 'value' RAM in it, once I replaced with better RAM all that went away. The system profileer on the PowerMac shows the timing for each DIMM.

here's ramseeker results for macbook ram, just buy form a known place like other world computing or crucial and you'll be fine, there's usually lifetime warranty so you can exchange it if it does not work :D
